CR Music & Entertainment is a small business located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company was founded in September 2004 and provides the LARGEST Tejano Music selections in the state of New Mexico available both online and in-store. 

CR Music & Entertainment sponsors and supports events including the National Tejano Music Convention, the Texas Talent Music Association and other Tejano Music events. 

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Joy is a native of Albuquerque, NM, where she was born and raised. Joy has always been around music, events and performing arts since the age of three. Joy has been a professional musical entertainer since the age of sixteen performing with the band Crossroads, and planned her first concert, in February of 1998.Joy obtains a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master's of Science in Accountancy and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) all from the University of Phoenix. Joy is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration. Joy is also a Founding Partner of CR music & entertainment. 

​Joy was recognized in the community for her efforts to assist local musicians and obtained the President’s seat of the New Mexico Hispano Entertainers Association in November 2007. By June 2009, Joy's continued efforts in the community gained the recognition of the Governor Richardson Administration, that she was appointed as a commissioner for the New Mexico Music Commission. Joy continually challenges herself to reach for higher goals in an effort to make a difference in her community.

Phil obtains an extensive resume and years of experience in the audio visual, music and recording industries and is part of our experienced team. His career began at the age of sixteen, as musician in a local band. From there his career in the music industry evolved to where he has performed as a musical entertainer playing drums, bass guitar and as a vocalist in the local Spanish and Gospel music industries.

In addition to his experience as a musician, Phil has been a recording engineer and producer for local artists for 40+ years. Phil expanded his career and began working in the audio visual industry and obtains previous experience as an audio visual director in addition to experience over the entire audio visual operation Phil's extensive experience of working with various organizations, businesses, and individuals in addition to his professional customer service skills is what has made Phil successful and a valuable asset to the company. Phil is one of the Founding Partners of CR Music & Entertainment.

Matthew is a Founding Partner of CR music & entertainment. In 2006, Matthew began graphic designing projects and since June 2007, Matthew has been the sole graphic designer of New Mexico Event & Wedding Planner Magazine. Matthew also has worked in the Audio Visual Industry for over 10 years and has held positions as a Partner, Project Manager, Audio Visual Technician, Video Switcher, Audio Technician,Lighting Technician, Production Manager, Rigger, Event Specialist, Customer Service Representative and Sales Representative.

Matthew also is a guitarist, a musical producer, studio engineer and musical arranger. His accomplishments have been recognized in the New Mexico Music market as well as the National Tejano Music Scene.
